Singer-pianist Chantal Kreviazuk is offering to perform a concert in someone's home to support War Child Canada to the highest bidder. The member of the Order of Canada and multiple Juno Award winner recently launched the auction on  eBay.

Kreviazuk will dine with up to 50 guests and perform a special intimate concert approximately two hours in length. The minimum starting bid for this show is $10,000 and bidding ends Monday, Dec. 19. Proceeds will go towards War Child Canada.

War Child's mission is to help children in areas affected by war by providing them with education while working towards justice on their behalf. Some of the countries where War Child is active include Sudan, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Afghanistan and Jordan.

"Throughout my life as a singer, there has been one gift that has stood out — an opportunity if you will — and that has been the chance to be a humanitarian," said Kreviazuk in a statement. "This year I would like to end on a high note and give a performance in the home of the highest bidder in Canada for War Child! I have seen first-hand their work with children in conflict zones and it has been an inspiration to me for many years. So put together your office or a group of friends and let's celebrate our good fortune by supporting a great cause."

With six studio albums to her name, Kreviazuk has two platinum (Under These Rocks And Stones and Colour Moving And Still) and two gold albums (What If It All Means Something and Ghost Stories). Her cover of "Leaving On A Jet Plane" was an anchor song for the Armageddon soundtrack and her 1999 song "Before You" reached #2 on the Canadian charts.
