ARTISTS AGAINST BULLYING "True Colors" 2012

What are your true colours? One in seven people has been bullied or is a bully, according to bullyingstatistics.org. Help lower that number. Some musicians and record labels are doing their part. To raise awareness about this disgusting epidemic, Simple Plan’s Pierre Bouvier, Hedley’s Jacob Hoggard, Lights, Kardinal Offishall, Fefe Dobson, Alyssa Reid, Walk Off The Earth, and Autotune The News have covered Cyndi Lauper’s 1986 hit “True Colors” under the banner “Artists Against Bullying.” All net proceeds from the sale of the Wax Records/Universal Music Canada single go to Canada’s Kids Help Phone, which offers professional counselling to young people 24/7. The song, already at radio, was released to coincide with Bullying Awareness Week (Nov. 12-17) but can be purchased long after, here. – K.B.
