On Feb. 17 UK pop sensations One Direction will officially release their cover of Blondie’s 1979 hit “One Way Or Another” to benefit long-running U.K. anti-poverty charity Comic Relief. You can hear a sanctioned snippet here. On Feb. 5, the group’s Louis Tomlinson tweeted, “I hear the charity single has been leaked. Very sad to see. Don’t forget together we are trying to raise money for comic relief.” In another tweet, he added. “Please get behind an incredible charity and make a real difference. You can pre order now from iTunes for the official track. Thank you.” Hopefully, most One Direction fans will respect that. The artwork features Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Liam Payne sporting red noses in honour of Comic Relief’s upcoming funny fundraiser Red Nose Day March 15. One Direction will also perform the song at the Brit Awards Feb. 20. — K.B.
