The Inuk folk singer Susan Aglukark is on the advisory board of suicide prevention non-profit Collateral Damage Project, to which she will donate proceeds from her 2006 song "Take A Little Less". First Nations youth are five to seven times more likely to die by suicide than non-Aboriginal. The Project was started by Scott Chisholm, whose father committed suicide. The original goal was to gather stories and photos from the loved ones left behind for a book and create open dialogue. It has expanded to speaking engagements and exhibits. — K.B.
