Shawn Mendes is on the face of Tim Horton’s coffee cups and now he’s got a limited-edition collection at clothing retailer Roots.  Launched today (Sept. 4) to celebrate the multi-platinum pop star’s hometown stadium show at Toronto's Rogers Centre on Sept. 6, included in the line are charity baseball caps benefitting his new Shawn Mendes Foundation, which is presently raising money for SickKids and Reverb.

One of the baseball cap,  which sells for $40, is available exclusively at the Toronto rose garden pop-up,  while the Roots Modern Leaf baseball cap ($28), available in seven different colours, is on sale at any Roots store across Canada or online, between Sept. 4 to 11. One hundred percent of the profits from these sales will also be donated to the foundation up to $100,000.

The pop-up, set up in downtown Toronto at 290 Bremner Blvd. from Sept. 4 to 6, has 10,000 fresh pink roses and eight-foot tall rose beds. A flower-lined winding path leads to the store.

"With the launch of my foundation earlier this week, my upcoming hometown show and now the release of my second collaboration with Roots - I'm so grateful to have the support of this iconic Canadian brand and being able to give back with them. I hope everyone loves these pieces as much as I do," said Mendes in a statement.

Added James Connell, chief e-commerce and customer experience officer: "Given the amazing response to our first collaboration with Shawn, we are thrilled to be launching an even more extensive capsule collection and taking the partnership to the next level with a unique and immersive fan experience. As a proud Canadian-born brand, and longstanding supporter of Canadian talent, it is great to see one of our own achieve such global success and to join in the celebration."

The limited-edition capsule collection includes: salt & pepper t-shirt ($48); black t-shirt ($48); sleeveless hoody ($78); capri sweatpants ($78); salt & pepper hoody ($128); black hoody ($128); lightweight bomber jacket ($178); and a custom-designed nylon award jacket ($498), handcrafted at the Roots Toronto Leather Factory.

The collection is available at the following Roots locations: Toronto's Yorkdale Shopping Centre, CF Eaton Centre and 80 Bloor St. W; Ottawa's CF Rideau Centre; Montreal's 1025 Sainte-Catherine St. W; Vancouver's 1001 Robson St.
