The innovative A-Team For Wildlife conservation eduction program is practicing what it preaches in helping to save at-risk animals, and by extension, the planet.

A-Team For Wildlife just announced that for every school that books its "Saving Endangered Species" presentation, the organization will purchase two tons of carbon offsetting in that school's name through the Saving Species conservation organization.

According to its website, Saving Species uses "science to drive our conservation decisions" and "maximize our efforts by restoring forest connectivity, increasing species’ chances for survival and thriving. This focus keeps down costs while being extraordinarily effective for many species across the globe."

Essentially, Saving Species uses money it receives to buy land it identifies as biologically valuable to reforest logged areas and, frequently, convert them into conservation parks. Saving Species has been active in places like Brazil, Colombia and Madagascar.

For A-Team For Wildlife it's as much about informing young minds to the environmental dangers they face.

"Since 1970 over half of the world's wildlife are already gone and 50 per cent of all remaining species are in danger of extinction within our students' lifetimes," said Ken Jones, A Team For Wildlife CEO, in a promotional video. "The science experts are saying the Earth is now suffering it's sixth mass extinction, this time caused by humans. So I created a brand new youth engagement program called Saving Endangered Species offering not just natural science, but knowledge your students can use."

Based in California, A-Team For Wildlife's Saving Endangered Species presentation features things like live parrots, demonstrations on how technologies like drones and robots are helping save wildlife as well as explanations on how kids can help save animals and what sort of jobs are available in the conservation field.
