Four-time Grammy Award winner Aimee Mann, Flor De Toloache, Emily Wolfe, Daisy O’Dell and Graciela will perform at the fifth annual Women Who Rock, Presented by Gibson concert in support of Magee-Womens Research Institute on May 22 at The Novo in Los Angeles.

The female-founded Women Who Rock helps educate, support and fund women-centric health research at Magee-Womens Research Institute, the largest research institute dedicated solely to life-saving women's health research in the United States, through staging benefit concerts with female-fronted lineups, selling apparel and accessories, and hosting national campaigns, fundraisers and pop-up events.

Women Who Rock has partnered with Gibson Gives for the May 22 benefit concert. Gibson Brands is known globally for making guitars and music-related gear with a product portfolio that includes the names Gibson, Epiphone, Kramer, MESA/Boogie, KRK and Maestro.

The company founded Gibson Gives, which has a mission to create, develop and support non-profit organizations in their efforts to advance musicians, youth-focused education, music, and health and wellness initiatives. It has raised more than $3.5 million in the last three years and all donations to and from Gibson Gives go towards giving the gift of music.

May is National Women’s Health Month in the U.S. Magee-Womens Research Institute’s current research has 319 active studies spanning 292 different conditions with 162,000 clinical trial participants all over the world.

The institute’s areas of research cover breast and gynecologic ovarian cancers, reproductive biology, infectious diseases, the development of COVID-19 therapeutics, women-controlled HIV prevention, obstetric care for women with substance use disorder, postpartum depression, and more.

Fans who can’t buy tickets and attend the May 22 benefit concert can still support the cause by purchasing a variety of jewelry, clothing, guitar picks and a guitar strap online here. A portion of all proceeds from the Women Who Rock collection will fund the life-saving breast cancer and women’s health research at Magee-Womens Research Institute.

Direct donations to Magee-Womens Research Institute can be made here.
