Blondie singer and activist Debbie Harry has launched an eco-fashion collection called HOPE with sustainable design duo Vin + Omi.

“Our hope is to draw attention to the harmful effects of plastic in our environment - which is damaging human health, marine life & habitats, littering beaches and landscapes, clogging waste streams and landfills - and to educate & empower people to make a difference towards helping adjust human attitudes and behaviors about plastics while reducing global plastic pollution,” Harry said here.

The initial HOPE items are two t-shirts, both red, one with the word "HOPE" horizontal and the other vertical ($72.19), and a black hoodie ($144.37), made from blends including recycled cotton and fabrics. They all come in sizes XS up to 4X.

“Our new eco collaboration with Debbie is a reaction to the zeitgeist,” the British Vin + Omi design team said below Harry’s statement. “We love working with her and are inspired by her forward thinking and desire to do things that make a difference to the planet."

Harry had an existing kinship with Vin + Omi, as she’s previously worn their designs on stage.
